The Pentax K-3 – the ultimate field camera
The new PENTAX K-3 features a 24 megapixel CMOS image sensor without an AA (Anti-Aliasing) filter to deliver high-resolution images, a 27 point AF system with 25 cross sensors for pinpoint focusing and an 86,000 pixel RGB light-metering sensor to assure accurate exposure on subjects of all kinds.
The Pentax K-3 is a one of a kind digital SLR camera – designed for truly creative photographers.
Below are some of the great features this camera has:
• The K-3 features the latest SAFOX 11 AF module equipped with a highly responsive , sensitive AF sensor.
• The innovative three-motor mechanism in which each motor optimises the action of the shutter, mirror & diaphragm independently, is the key to the high speed continuous shooting (8.3 images/sec).
• The new anti-aliasing simulator allows the user to minimise moire without installing an anti-aliasing filter, allowing filtered or filter free shooting. This makes best use of the total resolving power of the 24-megapixel CMOS sensor to produce sharp, fine-detailed images and recreates the sense of depth, ambience and texture. It also offers a top sensitivity of ISO 51,200.
• An optical viewfinder with nearly 100% field of view and a larger, brighter viewfinder image.
• With the optional FLU CARD FOR PENTAX 16GB the user can release the K-3’s shutter, check the live image & browse/download images with a smartphone.
This is a camera that really sets the bar high.
