Pentax has released the GPS-enabled Optio WG-1 GPS and the WG-1 rugged compact cameras.

They are even tougher than the Optio W90 and are designed to be crushproof against pressures of up to 100kg, dustproof, waterproof up to 10metres, coldproof down to -10degrees celsius and shock resistant for drops of up to 1.5m. This is one tough camera!

In terms of the features on the Optio WG-1 and Optio WG-1 GPS, they are 14mp cameras that incorporate the 28-140mm equivalent zoom lens, 2.7″ LCD screen and 720hp HD recording.
